November 2018
Hello there!
With Brexit very much in the news, and questions being asked about how the proposed ending of free movement will affect business, we lead this month with our experience of how Mentor clients in the catering and hospitality sector are coping with recruitment conditions that have changed already – ahead of any changes to the law.
We’re focussing the rest of our update on workplace diversity issues. The #MeToo movement has highlighted what was perhaps a hidden problem of workplace sexual harassment, so we focus on what employers need to do to ensure it doesn’t happen.
We also take a look at how a having a diverse workforce that reflects your customers is good for business and why small employers should take a look at their gender pay gap.
